We shared a wonderful togetherness for over 10 years as we all friends grew up together playing similar games from the traditional "LAGORI" to the nation loving "Cricket".Even though we had an influx of other friends during the prime time of our friendship,we the famous six guys generally branded by others as " THIRD FLOOR GANG" dominated in all the departments of all games !!!

And speaking a bit more on my best friends..there was my first ever mate in the abode of USHAS ( the name of the Apartments where i live ) called NIRANJAN "Hari" Aravind.........was a humongous chap who took every opportunity to instill in his great fast bowling skills on poor me facing at the other end !! Still remenber we contributed to the total of broken window panes on our floor in majority !! He is known for his tremendous BATLIFT and great accuracy with the ball...and even though he never made big scores,he rated himself to be a better batsman than a bowler !!.He had a habit of staging "hunger strikes" against his parents in order to buy his favourite expensive sport stuff and to add the strikes always had a successful end !!

Then there was a guy called CHINMAYA "chittu" JAIPRAKASH...who always took pride in hibernating throughout the afternoons in his house and used to tell it was his mom`s orders !! And often he would end up adding more spice than what he should have said and  that his versions always seem exaggerated.And to add...he was the worst ever batsman who walked the phase of the earth...with scores like 0,0,0,0,0,0,1,2,6,0,0,0,0,0,0.....and his all time highest being 12 not out...and is very famous for sharing a partnership of 96 with SANJAY "bradman" BHAT....(on whom i would be talking later)  for the last wicket saving a test match and ensuring us a series win over our arch rivals !!! Believe it or not..this chap was even tried as a "pinch hitter" and could never deliver in this role..rather would end up paying up for the broken window panes !!!

And the third member of our six man gang...was called by a name SHANKAR "shanky" Ramamoorthy...who always knew the exact facts about me that needs to be hid  in a silver platter, and on most occasions would leak it all up in the critical situations and follows it up with a prolonged advice session !!!!..Though he changed with years....he still carries on his uncanny knack !! Now he is happily doing his bachelors in commerce in Bangalore.He used to have the most bizzarre bowling action wherein he used fall off to his side after delivering the ball...and always insisted he needed some warm up before he could get his right rythm going !!!

And then was RAVI "ravs" NICHANI..who always fantasises on bikes and cars..and believe me this guy can recognize almost all automobiles with the very sound it makes during travelling !!! And talking about his cricket skills...BOY !! he was a genuine all rounder and would hit the ball miles in the air..and deliver those deadly yorkers which had batsman licking their toes in the dressing room !! He also fancied his trade in Computers and CDs and constantly made upgrades with his PC.

Then there was ravi`s brother in the form of VIKRAM "vicky or vicks" NICHANI who was absolute Bollywood crazy also to mention Hollywood that he could give u the entire details of the film within minutes regardless whether the film was old or new !!!! Still remember this chap used to devour three to four films in a day !! .Even though he wouldnt come regularly with us to the cricket meadows....but he could notch up big scores without even being touch nor in form for months...!! And always used to resort to bribing people when things didnt go in his favour...bribing did i say...haha...with coffee and breakfast mostly if not with indian rupees !!!

There....that was five members of our deadly gang...whos the sixth then ??? hahaha...it was me !!! Guys its over to u...to leave messages or comments in my guestbook !!!

Talking more...loud mouth like i am....there was another close friend in ROHIT "sonugiri" SAlIGRAM..this chap was known for his running skills....though he couldnt contribute with the bat much..his running between the wickets would even have MICHEAL BEVAN gazing his own speed !! He always used to take pride in talking about his very close elder brother in Rahul Saligram..who presently is in the STATES plying his trade in software !!

And then there was this prolific run scrorer...who would even have india´s very own Sachin Tendulkar looking at his own statistics !! The guy was called SANJAY "bradman" BHAT would could split the ball in two with his precise technique and calibre.He had an amazing record of 22 centuries 12 double centuries and uncountable fifties and innumerable 30s and 40s !!! Be it his Bowling or Batting he had the opposition always running for cover !! Not that he was good only ín sports but was also brilliant academically !!!

There were other very good mates in Vivek , Vishal , Ashwin , Sajan , Radhakrishnan , Badri , Old timers Raghav , Madhu , Arun "Biga" , Arun "Babu" , Krishna !!!
